Description: The bandolin is a chordophone in who has its origins in Ecuador. It’s a very close cousin to the bandurria in both making and playing technique. The bandolin shares the accompaniment role of Sanjuanito of St. Juan (St. John). The bandolin does share several characteristics with the Colombian bandolla, the Peruvian bandurria, and other related instruments. The bandolin has a total of 15-strings; the total courses are of 3 courses in which provide the total count of 15 strings. Each of the fifteen courses are` all tuned in unison that is to say the courses are tuned the same.
