Description: 
The dan-moi is a jaw-harp that is played by the Meo or (Hmung) People. The name of the instrument translates as "instrument of the lips" Traditionally hand made from very thin brass carried in a brightly patterned case usually of bamboo. Modern dan-moi are much more durable and precise in tone. An increasing demand in the dan-moi is rapidly increasing.
