Description: The kudi was invented by the Dizi master "Xu Kungfa" in 1971. In the Hunnan province a small vertical flute of a similar size is called a "Tuliang".

Anatomy of the Kudi: The kudi measures in length from 6cm to 7.7cm has a mouth hole 3 finger holes. The two empty sides are played with the left and right hands. This allows for the pitch to be changed when playing the kudi. A small storage case with ornate fabric and a bone hook is made for the kudi.
