Description: The sikus zampoña are a two row pan flute or pan pipe that is found in Bolivia and Peru. It is an Indigenous musical instrument of pre-Colombian origins played among the Quechua and Aymara peoples. Played in combination with queña and other sikus or toyos in accompaniment with drums and percussion. In stringed ensembles it is often accompanied by other wind instruments, stringed instruments and percussion.
